  • Welcomed the wife back from her three-week junket to Denmark.
  • Traveled to Cognac, France for work. Determined that I like the town but not so much the drink.
  • Traveled to South Jersey for a wedding (Congratulations Nick and Breinn!). Determined that the South is somewhat tidier and less fragrant than the North.
  • Grew weary of shuffling paper at work and returned to a technical role. (Bracing for questions from parents - starting timer at 6:48 pm).
  • Debated switching from PC to Mac, as well as from Verizon to Cingular at&t. Sure about the former but not the latter.
  • Endured what I hope is the bottoming-out of the 2317 Rebecca Dr. real estate market.

    I was forced by the wife to watch this show all season, resulting in an addiction so strong that I watched it voluntarily this week while she was in Denmark. Not good, I know. It was an especially bad scene on the couch tonight when Melinda was kicked off. If this is truly a singing contest, there is no justice in the world. Completely unacceptable.

For example:

    1) Pressure is defined as force per unit area, so please avoid the phrase “pounds of pressure”. Instead, use a less ambiguous phrase such as “psi of pressure” or “pounds of force”. Seriously, I don’t know whether you’re talking about force or pressure.

    2) When referring to temperature, please indicate units unless they are obvious. For example, a nature documentary produced in the United States but narrated by a Brit should avoid phrases such as, “They endured temperatures as low as fifty degrees below zero”. Farenheit or Celsius?!

    Most of my other public reeducation topics center around the common misconception that it’s acceptable to drive like an ass.
