Wouldn’t Sammy, this adorable 1 year old, possibly beagle/rat terrier mix, make the perfect dog for Carol and Dave?

  1. Comment from DAD on 4 Jun. 2006, 2:05 pm :

Kit & Kat occupy the house, our hearts, a lot of car space, & sufficient time for care. But I think he may be cute behind that bar.

  2. Comment from Glen on 4 Jun. 2006, 3:14 pm :

You house has plenty of room, you like dogs, your car has an unused backseat, and you are retired. And that dog is cute.

  3. Comment from Katie on 4 Jun. 2006, 3:19 pm :

Well, Mom is either going to get rid of Dobby or get him a playmate. Maybe you can convince her.

  4. Comment from Glen on 4 Jun. 2006, 8:51 pm :

Oh no! Poor Dobby! :( (Comment by Rachel, in case it says Glen)

  5. Comment from Angela on 6 Jun. 2006, 1:01 pm :

Dobby needs a sock! or some other humanly knitted thing/playmate/beagle/rat terrier mix!

  6. Comment from Amber Wilson on 18 Jun. 2007, 12:49 pm :

I have a raggle too they are so nice

  7. Comment from Chris on 3 Jul. 2007, 3:35 pm :

I had a raggle, but she passed away recently. I miss her SO badly! I am looking to get another one. If this dog is still available, let me know! It is hard to find raggles.

That’s your dog, not your nephew. Try again.

  2. Comment from DAD on 8 May. 2006, 5:24 pm :

    But he’s cute too.

  3. Comment from Katie on 9 May. 2006, 3:58 am :

I’m really starting to wonder about your priorities.

  4. Comment from Tammy on 9 May. 2006, 9:11 am :

Important homeowner tip #1: when removing nails, try to avoid removing large chunks of drywall along the way.

  1. Comment from DAD on 1 May. 2005, 5:22 am :

Let’s see the repaired wall and the wheelbarrow.

  2. Comment from Em on 2 May. 2005, 10:01 am :

Now that we have your house number, how about a street address so your loyal readers can shower you with housewarming gifts!

  3. Comment from Angela on 2 May. 2005, 1:03 pm :

    YEAH! What Em said.

  4. Comment from Maggie on 2 May. 2005, 3:17 pm :

Add another to the call for street addresses.

  5. Comment from Glen on 2 May. 2005, 4:44 pm :

Really, we received plenty of gifts for our wedding, but I will send out an email with our new address nevertheless — just as soon as I hook up the desktop computer with my address book.

  6. Comment from DAD on 4 May. 2005, 6:33 pm :

Did you know that Roy is an example of a ‘Bagle’? That’s a mixture of Basset and Beagle.

  7. Comment from Glen on 6 May. 2005, 5:43 am :

    I did not know that.

  8. Comment from Angela on 12 May. 2005, 9:55 am :

  10. Comment from Em on 17 May. 2005, 2:56 pm :

Your loyal readers anxiously await an update on your subsequent casualties….

  11. Comment from Glen on 18 May. 2005, 5:45 am :

I know, I know. I have in front of me a long list of completed projects and an equally long list of incomplete projects, but there have been no major disasters (yet). Just wait until I get to the built-in bookshelves.

  12. Comment from Maggie on 18 May. 2005, 7:05 pm :

PLEASE tell me you are not tearing out the built-in bookshelves….

  13. Comment from Glen on 19 May. 2005, 5:28 am :

No no, I am installing built-in bookshelves. Although I suspect the installation process may involve cursing at them and ripping them out at some point.

Careful Testudo, you’re in Big Ten country. Me, I’ll be publicly rooting for the Illini and projecting my secret ACC loyalties onto this Testudo atop my monitor.

  1. Comment from Glen on 3 Apr. 2005, 3:34 pm :

I’m honestly not sure where my loyalties will lie tomorrow night, but I am just happy to see a Big Ten-ACC matchup. Everybody around here believes the ACC is overrated, and tomorrow they will have a chance to prove it.

  2. Comment from Glen on 4 Apr. 2005, 9:44 pm :

Well, I have to admit, that was a little disappointing. (The outcome, not the game).

I know several people who are considering acquiring cats. This is to help with the decision-making process.

  1. Comment from Em on 15 Feb. 2005, 9:12 am :

    Everyone should have two cats!
