Blog negligence

Events of the last few weeks, conveniently summarized in bulleted sentence fragments:

  • Welcomed the wife back from her three-week junket to Denmark.
  • Traveled to Cognac, France for work. Determined that I like the town but not so much the drink.
  • Traveled to South Jersey for a wedding (Congratulations Nick and Breinn!). Determined that the South is somewhat tidier and less fragrant than the North.
  • Grew weary of shuffling paper at work and returned to a technical role. (Bracing for questions from parents - starting timer at 6:48 pm).
  • Debated switching from PC to Mac, as well as from Verizon to Cingular at&t. Sure about the former but not the latter.
  • Endured what I hope is the bottoming-out of the 2317 Rebecca Dr. real estate market.

They are at the lake, thus the reason for no comments at 6:49 pm. However, I am very curious about your new duties (and excited that you were able to transition away from paper shuffling).

Um. You can’t switch to Cingular. I’m just getting Mike to switch from Cingular to Verizon! The “fewer dropped calls” is a myth, you know. You can’t get a signal anywhere!!

You know what cognac is allegedly good for? Cleaning your teeth when you’re without toothbrush or paste. An old Dutch dude in the middle of Vietnam told me that the other year. I wouldn’t know enough to confirm though because I couldn’t get enough of a swig to swish around my mouth before gagging.

Tell us more of the return to the technical role!
