Carving

The odd mustchioed character on the left is mine. It was originally intended as a 787, but I turned it upside down and added two more fangs. The cat was carved by somebody allergic to cats.

My fall schedule includes:
Nov. 3: Borat
Nov. 4-10: Resuming work on a long-overdue task. No questions, please.
Nov. 11: Decemberists in Chicago
Thanksgiving: Parental units in Champaign
Dec. 2-8: Finland. Work will be done, aurora borealis will be photographed.
Dec. ?: Completing long-overdue task, I hope. Again, no questions.

The cats recently turned five, which means that we’ve been out on the plains for just as long. According to Science Diet, the cats become “seniors” in just two short years, and I’m thinking they should retire to the east coast. We’ll see.

Also: Congratulations to Angela and Mike!!

    Thanks :)

I like how the Science Diet is telling you to come home. All signs point to YES! I need you to host festive pumpkin carving parties in MD!

Good luck with your task-that-shall-not-be-named. I know you can do it!

My cat smells like cat food.

That’s good carving! Is the bottom center pumpkin a baseball & bat?

  3. Comment from Glen on 31 Oct. 2006, 7:51 pm :

It’s a baseball bat. No ampersand.

So you’re buying the cats a condo in Boca Raton? I think they’ve earned it.
