Slobber

Indiana returned from the dog park this evening soaking wet. According to Rachel, it was 100% slobber.

He’s just excited about the new baby boy cousin coming into the family. He just can’t help but drool at the possibility of a cousin!

It wasn’t Indy’s slobber though - the other dogs slobber all over him!

    My bad…

This picture only makes me fall further in love with your dog. (Puppies of my own coming in January, I think! I mean adopting puppies. Not having them myself. That would be gross.)

Then you, too, can start a blog and switch to an all-dog format!

Would these two pass the aerogeek cutedog standard?

Absolutely! Are they really full-grown, and are they really brothers? One is listed as a “Terrier” and the other a “Beagle”. What about names? I’d suggest Orville and Wilbur, but that goes without saying.

Disclaimer: My official standard requires some degree of Dachshund pedigree, but let the record show that even Indiana Jones does not meet this standard. And aside from a recent spat of midnight beagle-howling (mice in the walls?), Indiana has worked out just fine.

I believe the appropriate heritage is “mutt” :) As soon as I know the answer to those questions, I will report back - I’m hoping to meet them this weekend. I do know that those pictures are old, and that they’re now about a year/year and a half old. Their foster mom is, however, “very particular” about who she adopts out to…. So we shall see. Can I list Indiana Jones and his “pets” as references for my character?

(Oh - and I think at 1 1/2, they may be officially stuck with their current monikers - Moose and Walker….)

Hey - stay warm up there in the snows! You might need a full snow suit for Indiana, not just the sweater….

…..still awaiting new blog updates….. get with the program people!

I must say, this blog is getting kind of sad these days. Rachel, at least give us a cat update or something!!!
As an unrelated but amusing note, my anti-spam code today is “POLE”. Hee hee!

Sad indeed. Let me see what I can do.
